The event, held in Granada, is consolidating its position as a key meeting point between companies and job seekers. This initiative is the result of collaboration between the Junta de Andalucía, the Granada City Council, the Granada Provincial Council, the University of Granada, and the Granada Chamber of Commerce.
Under the slogan 'Take the Leap', the fair focuses on direct job placement and effective connections. 90 companies and the five organizing institutions are participating, with a total of 1,462 job positions offered and 2,726 individuals registered.
“"This event opens its doors to talent to connect it with companies, without distinctions and with opportunities for people of all ages and very diverse profiles, such as young university graduates and vocational training students or unemployed individuals."
The mayor of Granada emphasized that the fair is a "real tool to generate opportunities" and highlighted the city's progress towards a more innovative and competitive productive model. The importance of institutional collaboration in delivering better results for citizens and the European dimension of the event, aligned with values of opportunity and talent, were also underscored.
In addition to job offers, the fair hosts the XI Student Exhibition of the University of Granada, with the participation of nearly 7,000 students from Baccalaureate and Higher Vocational Training programs. The main goal is to facilitate real selection processes, allowing direct interaction, resume submission, and on-site interviews. It is complemented by 40 business talks and five specialized job search workshops, including one promoted by the University of Granada focused on using artificial intelligence tools for employability.
As a new feature, a 'smartcard' has been implemented to track attendee activity, along with an interactive game called 'Talent Passport', which helps participants learn about the companies and most in-demand profiles.
