Organized by the Territorial Delegation of Educational Development and Vocational Training, these conferences took place at the Faculty of Sciences. The territorial delegate for Educational Development and Vocational Training and for University, Research and Innovation, María José Martín, attended the meeting.
The primary goal was to create a space for reflection, training, and the exchange of experiences regarding inclusive education. This is understood not merely as a theoretical principle, but as a daily practice built in educational centers to ensure that all students, regardless of their personal, social, or cultural characteristics, can participate, learn, and develop with equal opportunities.
During the event, crucial aspects for the advancement of educational inclusion were addressed. These included the principles of inclusive education and their practical application in schools, as well as the exchange of real experiences developed in different educational contexts across the province of Granada, aiming to highlight good practices and effective strategies.
Furthermore, issues of particular relevance were discussed, such as the attention to students in specific classrooms, especially within the scope of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Educational responses from a compensatory perspective in situations of inequality, the importance of emotional education, conflict management, and student well-being were also covered. Other key points included inclusion in ordinary classrooms and across different educational stages, including Secondary Education, and the transition to adult and working life for students with special educational needs.
The attendance of 450 people is significant, as it represents the majority of the 618 professionals working in this field in the province of Granada, according to data provided by the Delegation.
