The International Job Fair of Granada has opened its doors at the Congress Palace, bringing together thousands of people in search of new employment opportunities and offering nearly 2,000 job positions.
More than 7,000 individuals have walked the halls of the Granada Congress Palace during the sixth edition of the International Job Fair. The event has gathered 90 companies, making available a total of 1,861 job offers, attracting 4,763 registered attendees, many of whom are young people seeking their first professional experience.

"It is not just a job fair; it is a meeting point between companies and people looking for work; it is a real tool that allows generating opportunities, connecting talent, and continuing to advance the economic and social development of the city."
The initiative, driven by the collaboration of the Junta de Andalucía, the Granada City Council, the Provincial Council, the Employment department of the UGR, and the Granada Chamber of Commerce, aims to foster direct contact between companies and job seekers under the slogan «Take the Leap». This approach focuses on direct labor insertion, facilitating resume submissions, active interviews, and access to offers through an official platform.
Throughout the day, various activities have been scheduled to improve employability, including 40 business talks where companies present their selection processes and the most demanded skills. Additionally, five specialized workshops on job searching have been offered, notably one from the University of Granada on using artificial intelligence tools to optimize job searches.

"For companies, talent acquisition is synonymous with innovation, improved turnover, increased opportunities, and internationalization, which is why what happens here today is vital for the competitiveness of Granada's business fabric."
As a novelty in this 2026 edition, a gamification activity has been implemented to encourage participation and knowledge about the fair, helping attendees familiarize themselves with companies and the most sought-after professional profiles. Furthermore, the fair has incorporated the use of a smartcard, a digital tool that records participant activity, facilitating interaction with companies and agile access to job opportunities.
