The city of Granada is set to host the first edition of the 'Alma y Arte' Solidarity Fashion Show this Friday, an event that blends fashion and art with a clear social purpose: to support the fight against childhood cancer and raise funds for the AUPA association.

The Quinta Alegre Palace will be the venue for this initiative, which goes beyond a traditional fashion show to become a platform for awareness. Designers, makeup artists, hairdressers, and various artistic disciplines will come together to offer an experience combining creativity and social commitment.
The essence of 'Alma y Arte' lies in its charitable nature. All funds raised will be entirely donated to the AUPA association, an entity dedicated to providing emotional, psychological, and social support to children affected by cancer and their families, as well as promoting pediatric oncology research.

"The initiative demonstrates how Granada's talent and creative fabric can be put at the service of such an important cause as the fight against childhood cancer. Events like 'Alma y Arte' not only energize the city and support our designers and professionals but also generate a real social impact."

Elisa Campoy · Councillor for Commerce of Granada City Council
Childhood cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease in children aged one to 14 in Spain, with approximately 1,100 new diagnoses annually. Given this reality, projects like this are crucial not only for fundraising but also for raising awareness and supporting families through such a difficult process.
Driven by DyD Escuela Superior and Laura López, associated with the International Protocol School of Granada, the event has the institutional backing of the Granada City Council. The Councillor for Commerce, Elisa Campoy, highlighted the value of the proposal, which will also serve as a showcase for local and Andalusian creative talent, fostering collaboration between creativity, business, and citizenship.
Numerous local companies and entities, such as Estación Diseño, Monae, Claudina Mata, Marina Moreno, and La Canastera, have joined the initiative, providing resources and support. The organization aims to consolidate 'Alma y Arte' as an annual event in Granada, inviting citizens, businesses, and entities to actively participate in its development.
