Granada kicks off the weekend with a yellow alert due to forecast high temperatures, which could reach 39 degrees Celsius. This alert will be active between 1:00 PM and 8:59 PM and will affect the Genil Basin, an area that includes the capital and its Metropolitan Area.
In the capital of Granada, the mercury will range between a minimum of 19 degrees and a maximum of 38 degrees.
The meteorological forecast for this Saturday, according to information from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), anticipates mostly clear or cloudless skies.
Regarding the winds, they will be light and variable in the interior of the province. On the coast, moderate easterly winds are expected, and in the western interior during the afternoon.
