Municipal technical teams continue to assess affected properties and address incidents arising from the seismic activity. The aim is to inspect all structures potentially damaged and to normalize access to cordoned-off areas.
On Friday, Granada Firefighters handled 390 interventions, with 41 requiring on-site action. The Local Police responded to 513 requests, including 370 calls to 092 and 143 services from 112.
As a result of the ongoing operations, traffic has been restored on 12 streets and areas, including Navas, Alhóndiga, Elvira, and Gran Vía with Marqués de Falces. However, 32 streets and zones still face partial and occasional disruptions.
Among the streets still under restriction are Baden Powell, San Matías, Puentezuelas, Horno del Oro, and various squares and avenues like Plaza de la Ilusión and Placeta Blasco Ibáñez. Municipal services are working on assessment and cleanup to reopen these areas soon.
“"The City Council reminds citizens that a bonus of the maximum legally permitted Impuesto sobre Construcciones, Instalaciones y Obras (ICIO) is available for repair works on properties damaged by the earthquakes. This bonus is 95% for primary residences and businesses, and 50% for other properties."
The council reiterates a message of calm and responsibility, urging the public to follow emergency service recommendations and obtain information solely from official channels. For any emergency, the reference number is 112.
