The incident occurred shortly before 00:30, when the 112 Andalucía emergency service received a report of a car that had ended up in a ditch while traveling towards Motril.
Following the alert, the coordination center immediately dispatched the Guardia Civil Traffic Department, the Emergency Health Center, and road maintenance crews to the scene.
Medical staff confirmed that one minor was among the five injured. All occupants, aged between 17 and 37, were evacuated to the Santa Ana Hospital in Motril for medical treatment.
