The incident was reported around 10:50 PM, when emergency services received multiple alerts about a fire in a room at the center, located on Rosa Martínez Vera Street in Guadix.
Firefighters from Guadix, supported by units from Iznalloz, along with personnel from the 061 Health Emergency Center, the Civil Guard, and the Local Police, responded to the scene. The fire, which originated in a first-floor living room, was quickly brought under control and extinguished.
Although the second floor was affected by smoke, prompting the evacuation of residents and ventilation of the premises, the situation did not escalate. All 28 occupants of the residence were checked by medical teams.
