The pre-registration process has revealed uneven results for the new academic offerings at the University of Granada. Among the new programs, the Biomedical Engineering degree, taught in collaboration with Jaén, has recorded a cut-off mark of 12.152, establishing itself as one of the most demanding options in this initial rollout.
Meanwhile, the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence degree has shown high demand at the Granada campus, reaching a cut-off mark of 11.697. In contrast, the same degree at the Melilla campus has set its entry mark at 5, reflecting a significant difference in admission pressure between the two locations.
Other newly created degrees have shown more moderate results. The double degree in History and Archaeology debuted with a mark of 8.946, while the degree in Spanish Industries and their Cultures, taught jointly with the University of Alcalá de Henares, set its cut-off mark at 5 as initial demand was met.
The current enrollment and waiting list confirmation period for all public universities in Andalusia will remain open until July 9, allowing for the adjustment of spots in the various programs offered for the 2026/2027 academic year.
