The detainees, who have numerous police records, were caught in the early hours of the morning pushing and driving a van that showed signs of having been tampered with for ignition via a "hotwire" method. The vehicle inspection revealed that the ignition key wires had been altered.
Authorities confirmed that the van was reported stolen in a town within Granada's metropolitan belt. As a result of this evidence, the three individuals were arrested.
Furthermore, one of the detainees has been proposed for an administrative sanction for carrying a bladed weapon and attempting to discard it during the police intervention.
The recovered van has been returned to its rightful owner.
The arrested individuals have been handed over to judicial authority to determine their criminal responsibility in the events.
