These works are part of a broader project that also includes the Acebuchal and Madroño tunnels, with a total investment of 16.26 million euros. Funding comes from European funds under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).
Road closures will take place between junctions 869 and 855 of the highway to ensure the safety of both workers and users. Drivers are advised to pay attention to signage and use the N-340 as a diversion.
Specifically, the carriageway in the Almería direction will be closed from 9:00 AM on Monday, May 4, until 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 7. Subsequently, the carriageway in the Málaga direction will experience interruptions from 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, until 1:00 PM on Friday, May 8, and again from 8:00 AM on Monday, May 11, until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12.
