The production, which brings together the talents of a visual artist, a composer, and three performers, has recently been unveiled. This audiovisual project was entirely shot in the Tabernas Desert, a natural setting that lends a unique atmosphere to the narrative.
The launch of Trinity coincides with the release of Lagrimosa, a new musical composition that serves as the central axis and soundtrack for the entire work. The music, created by the composer, is fundamental to the sensory experience of the video poem.
“"Trinity represents the culmination of this residency process and the outcome of what happens when different artistic languages coexist in the same creative space."
The piece invokes the symbolic strength of three women, embodying concepts such as memory, resistance, and rebirth. In the arid desert landscape, their movements engage with the earth, suggesting a new beginning in a place that evokes desolation.
Inspired by the visual and spiritual power of the film The Color of Pomegranates, the work constructs a symbolic narrative where image, gesture, and silence acquire the density of a ritual. The Armenian language is interwoven into the work as an ancient chant, serving as a bridge between wounded cultures seeking reconciliation.
