The fire, which began on Tuesday morning, was declared controlled by Plan Infoca personnel around 10:00 PM on the same day. Full extinguishment was confirmed on Wednesday morning.
This incident marks the fourth fire recorded within the municipality of Lucena del Puerto in recent weeks. Authorities have indicated that these fires frequently occur in the same area and around similar times, leading to suspicions of arson.
Resources deployed to combat the flames in Arroyo Pasadera included a fire engine, 10 forest firefighters, an environmental agent, two ground-attack aircraft, and one medium-heavy helicopter.
Meanwhile, fires declared in the neighboring town of Moguer remain active. The first, which started on Sunday in the El Reventón area, is stabilized, with teams working towards its complete extinguishment. A second fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon in the Camino de las Cumbres area, which was stabilized that same evening with the involvement of 25 forest firefighters, an operations technician, an environmental agent, two fire engines, and a medium-heavy helicopter.
