The ERACIS team in Isla Cristina has launched ERACIS Inspira, a monthly initiative to share successful social projects among professionals from across Andalusia, promoting learning and idea adaptation.

The ERACIS Inspira initiative, driven by the ERACIS team in Isla Cristina, aims to introduce local teams to successful projects and experiences developed in other territories of Andalusia, as well as showcase their own valued initiatives. Under the slogan “Sowing ideas that transform neighborhoods,” it is designed as a space for training, networking, and collaboration among ERACIS teams and social entities.
The core idea is that various Andalusian territories are developing highly relevant projects that can inspire other professionals, but often lack platforms to explore them in depth and engage in direct dialogue with their developers. ERACIS Inspira seeks to bridge this gap by creating a space for conversation and work, enabling the Isla Cristina team to delve into these experiences.
Sessions will be held monthly, featuring professionals or social entities from a different ERACIS territory each time, who will present a specific project. The Isla Cristina team will then explore its development, challenges, and outcomes, jointly assessing which elements could be adaptable to their local context.

"We want to circulate the knowledge that already exists in the territories and have the opportunity to speak directly with the people who have implemented these experiences. It's not about copying projects, but about understanding them, how they were developed, and what we can learn from them to improve our work here."

Rocío Fonseca · ERACIS coordinator of Isla Cristina
The first session will take place on September 9 at the CAD Matadero in Isla Cristina, featuring Isabel Arteaga from the Agua Viva Association of Huelva, who will present the ERACIS Emprende experience. In October, Alberto Priego from the Ítaca Association of Almería will present the Made in El Puche project.
The initiative also promotes shared learning, allowing the ERACIS team from Isla Cristina to offer their own experiences to other interested professionals. The goal is to foster a network of contacts among professionals and entities in Andalusia, facilitating knowledge exchange and future collaborations to enhance socio-labor intervention.

"Connecting professionals working for socio-labor inclusion in different municipalities is an opportunity to learn and improve. From Isla Cristina, we want to commit to an open way of working, incorporating new ideas and also valuing our own experiences."

Gerardo Ramos · Social Services Councilor
The ERACIS+ strategy, co-financed by the European Union and the Junta de Andalucía, operates in priority action neighborhoods like the Barriada del Rocío in Isla Cristina. Its objective is to improve the social and labor inclusion of vulnerable individuals through personalized pathways and comprehensive support, mobilizing resources and promoting collaboration between administrations and social entities.
