Mayor Carmen Álvarez visited the site, where works include paving nearly 2,000 square meters, leveling sections, and clearing margins. These efforts fulfill a commitment made to local residents, who had not seen improvements on this road for over 35 years.
Álvarez emphasized the project's significance, not only for facilitating daily commutes for residents but also for the transport of agricultural products and goods. "Working on rural roads also means supporting our farmers, fostering their activity, and improving the quality of life for those who live and work in our countryside," she stated.
These works are part of the local government's objective to enhance the condition of the city's neighborhoods and rural areas, prioritizing based on urgency and resident feedback.
