This significant economic injection will be entirely dedicated to fixing rural roads, improving public thoroughfares, and rehabilitating various municipal infrastructures that were severely affected by adverse weather conditions.
The storm, which strongly hit the town last February, caused considerable destruction in both the urban area and the rural surroundings. Given the severity of the situation, the mayor of Trebujena, Ramón Galán, initiated the necessary bureaucratic procedures to request the municipality's official declaration as an area seriously affected by a civil protection emergency.
This declaration has been crucial for the City Council to access funds from the central administration and has paved the way for other complementary aid. Thanks to this management, local farmers and ranchers, heavily impacted by the storm in a sector vital to Trebujena's economy, have also received the necessary resources to mitigate their losses.
