The municipal company Tussa has announced an enhancement to the shuttle bus service for the upcoming Horse Races in Sanlúcar, operating during the cycles from August 8-10 and August 21-23.

The Urban Transport Company of Sanlúcar (Tussa), chaired by the mayor Carmen Álvarez, will implement a special shuttle bus service from the El Botánico parking lot. The aim is to facilitate access for residents and visitors to the beaches during the six days of the Horse Races, thereby avoiding the parking difficulties common during these high-attendance dates.
The service will be operational during the first cycle of the traditional equestrian events on August 8, 9, and 10, and will extend to the second cycle on August 21, 22, and 23.
During the first cycle, the shuttle will begin operating at 4:30 PM from the El Botánico stop, approximately one and a half hours before the first race starts. The last departure from Avenida de las Piletas will be at 11:00 PM.
For the second cycle, on August 21, the service will commence earlier at 3:00 PM from El Botánico, with the last departure at 10:30 PM, also from Avenida de las Piletas. On August 22 and 23, the schedule will be the same as in the first cycle, running from 4:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
The planned frequency is approximately every half hour, though it may be adjusted based on traffic conditions and service demand. The shuttle bus will reach the roundabout on the Paseo Marítimo near the arrival area of Las Piletas, where the City Council has established a designated stop.
In this manner, the City Council, through the Department of Traffic and Mobility, led by councilor Narciso Vital, maintains a service that the local government under Carmen Álvarez deems highly useful for the numerous public who gather on Sanlúcar's beaches each summer to enjoy the horse races.
