The delegate for Culture, Narciso Vital, and the delegate for Beaches, Carmen Pozo, have visited the Biblioplaya, a literary meeting point operating since early July on the Sanlúcar coastline. This service offers a wide selection of books and magazines, as well as cultural animation activities.
Present at the visit were representatives of collaborating groups such as the Association of Friends of Books and Libraries ‘Luis de Eguílaz’ (with Manuel Parodi), Ampicapacho (with Isabel Humanes), and Mardeleva (with Ifigenia Bueno), who work alongside the City Council on this initiative.
The Biblioplaya, named in honor of Rafael Pablos, a promoter of public libraries and reading animation activities in Sanlúcar, offers throughout the summer season a lending module, access to books, newspapers, and magazines, and proposals for children. This unique space attracts users of all ages, combining reading with the privileged beach environment.
The delegate for Environment and Beaches, Carmen Pozo, highlighted the City Council's pride in this service, which operates for another year with the support of the municipal government presided over by Carmen Álvarez.
The Biblioplaya is consolidated as one of the most unique cultural services in the city and a benchmark on the Andalusian coast, enriching Sanlúcar's summer offerings.
