The Animal Welfare Delegation of the Sanlúcar City Council has organized three training workshops titled Do You Think You Know Dogs?. These activities, educational in nature and aimed at the whole family, seek to promote respect and responsible pet ownership. The sessions are free and will be held at the City of Children and Girls.
The program will kick off this Thursday, August 13, with the workshop Which Dog Would You Choose?. It will continue on Wednesday, August 19, with the activity How to Approach a Dog?, and conclude on Wednesday, August 26, with the talk How Do Dogs Learn?. All workshops will start at 8:00 PM.
The delegate for the area, Carmen Pozo, explained that the objective is to provide citizens with tools and knowledge to better understand canine behavior and improve coexistence, especially with animals that are part of families. "The Government of Mayor Carmen Álvarez continues to promote awareness and education initiatives on animal welfare, fostering a more responsible and committed citizenry towards the care and respect of animals," she stated.
Carmen Pozo highlighted the importance of "promoting learning and awareness spaces that contribute to improving the respect and well-being of companion animals." The Animal Welfare delegate thus encourages families in Sanlúcar to participate in these workshops to discover new ways of understanding and relating to dogs.
