The Mayor, Carmen Álvarez, accompanied by the municipal delegate for Commerce, Elena Ramírez, held a meeting with the president of the Association of Artisans of Sanlúcar, María Romero, and other members of the collective. The main objective was to evaluate the artisan markets held in recent months and reinforce the collaboration between the City Council and the association.
During the meeting, impressions were exchanged on the development of these events, which not only give visibility to the work of local artisans and those from neighboring towns but also bring their creations closer to Sanlúcar residents and visitors. These markets combine the promotion of craftsmanship with cultural activities and leisure proposals, revitalizing public spaces and offering year-round enjoyment options for the city.
The positive experience of the events was highlighted, especially their new location in Parque de los Scouts, which has revitalized this central green space after various improvements made in the last three years. The next Artisan Market event is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The Mayor reaffirmed the local government's commitment to continue collaborating with the association on initiatives that promote craftsmanship and support sector professionals.
