The ongoing works involve the replacement and removal of asbestos from a 36-meter section of pipe, which was in very poor condition, with a new PVC conduit. This action aims to enhance the network's safety and reliability.
Once the pipe replacement is complete, the concessionary company for the integral water cycle, Aqualia, will carry out the asphalt restoration. The intervention is expected to last approximately three weeks.
Following this project, the City Council will undertake similar works on Ruiz de Somavía street, continuing the improvements to municipal sanitation and supply networks.
The local government reaffirms its commitment to modernizing urban infrastructure and improving essential public services for the quality of life of Sanlúcar residents.
