The Floridance Festival, a benchmark in electronic music, will commemorate its thirtieth anniversary in 2026. For this special edition, the event will return to Rota, maintaining its previous location and presenting an ambitious proposal that will include the participation of 30 artists, both national and international, spread across two stages. Additionally, an impressive 60-meter screen will be installed, promising an immersive visual experience.
This initiative aims to boost Rota's cultural and leisure offerings during the close of the summer season, enhancing the municipality's tourist appeal. The festival, which will take place at the municipal football stadium 'Antonio Pazos Puyana ‘Monago’', is supported by the Municipal Youth Delegation and will maintain the successful format of previous editions.
The artist lineup will be progressively unveiled, with a first official announcement scheduled for May 1st and the full lineup revealed on June 1st. Between seven and eight international artists are expected to participate, alongside more than twenty national talents. The festival will retain its essence, combining current electronic music with retro sounds, and is aimed at an audience aged 18 and over. The venue will also offer catering areas, leisure spaces, and merchandise, complemented by carefully curated visual ambiance.
“"Last year went very well, and everyone who comes to Rota enjoys the experience and ends up coming back, so this year could not be less."
The presentation of this new edition was led by a spokesperson for the Municipal Youth Delegation, who highlighted the success of the previous edition and the excellent reception from both the public and the organization. Representatives from the promoter Animalia El bicho Producciones, specializing in the Breakbeat genre, thanked the Rota City Council for their trust in the project, emphasizing the importance of continuing the festival in a place where the public responds and the experience is positive for everyone.
