The cultural program 'Planeamos', promoted by the Provincial Council of Cadiz through the Provincial Culture Foundation, brings various events to Chipiona throughout August. The aim is to boost cultural activity in the province's municipalities, especially those with fewer resources.
As part of the 'Música al Fresco' cycle, organized by the Municipal Department of Culture, the Plaza de Andalucía will host two free concerts. On Tuesday, August 11, Anita Franklin will perform with a jazz and pop repertoire, and on Tuesday, August 25, the group Alxaraf will present a flamenco show with Sephardic roots. Both performances will start at 10:00 PM.
The 'Planeamos' program, held annually from May to November, aims to promote equal opportunities and revitalize the economic and social sectors linked to culture. This year, it includes over 460 activities by 140 cultural companies, with a budget exceeding half a million euros.
As a family entertainment option, Chipiona also offers Summer Cinema in the courtyard of the San José de Calasanz school. Screenings, starting at 10:30 PM, include titles such as "Spider-Man: Brand New Day", "Minions & Monsters", "Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie", and "Moana", with tickets priced at 5 euros.
