With the aim of fostering active lifestyle habits, the healthy walks program takes place every Friday in Chipiona, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The initiative is driven by health center professionals, including family and community nurses, physiotherapists, and social workers.
The activity combines moderate physical exercise with health education guidelines. It includes warm-up sessions, mobility and balance exercises, and an adapted route through the town's urban and coastal environment.
The starting point is the Doctor Tolosa Latour Health Center, located on Avenida de Rocío Jurado. Participation is free and does not require prior registration, inviting anyone interested to join directly at the meeting point at the scheduled time. It is recommended to bring a small water bottle, sunscreen, and comfortable footwear and clothing.
This initiative seeks not only to promote physical activity but also to create a space for community and well-being, providing attendees with simple and accessible tools to improve their quality of life.
The action is part of the health promotion strategies of the Junta de Andalucía, through the Health Management Area of Jerez, Costa Noroeste, and Sierra de Cádiz.
