The Local Council for Children and Adolescents (CLIA) of Chipiona has developed various activities during the summer, notably the creation of its new institutional logo. This emblem will represent the municipality at the fourth Provincial Meeting of Local Councils for Children and Adolescents, to be held on October 24 and 25 in Algeciras.
The meeting is organized by the Provincial Council of Cádiz and the Regional Government of Andalusia, with the collaboration of the City Council of Algeciras.
The design, created through a participatory process, is the work of Julia Porta Caro, a member of Chipiona's CLIA. The logo reflects values of coexistence, diversity, and commitment to the territory, featuring a lighthouse surrounded by colorful child-like figures and sea waves, symbolizing Chipiona's identity and the future.
The delegate for Citizen Participation, Isabel María Fernández, highlighted the importance of this creative process driven by the municipality's own children and adolescents, emphasizing their active participation in shaping the image that will represent them provincially.
Throughout the summer, Chipiona's CLIA has promoted initiatives to foster participation, teamwork, and creativity, with the logo's development being one of the most significant actions.
By attending the Provincial Meeting, the council reaffirms its commitment to promoting the rights of children and adolescents, as well as to exchanging experiences with other local councils in the province of Cádiz.
