The mayor of Chipiona, Luis Mario Aparcero, announced the awarding of this service, which will have an initial duration of two years with the possibility of two extensions. This initiative responds to the need to continuously address the deterioration of these routes due to agricultural and neighborhood use, as well as adverse weather conditions.
Until now, maintenance work was carried out through annual contracts, which hindered long-term planning. The new contract will establish a stable service, allowing for more effective action in road conservation.
