The intervention, which involved an investment of over 183,000 euros, was carried out through the Agricultural Employment Promotion Program (PFEA) and is part of the Reactiva Barrios Plan. This municipal initiative aims to modernize infrastructure and public spaces throughout the municipality to enhance the quality of life for residents.
The works have transformed a space that previously featured deteriorated concrete paving and design deficiencies. Key improvements include the installation of new hydraulic tile flooring and the creation of an access ramp connecting the plaza to San Lorenzo Street, facilitating movement in an area characterized by its hillside terrain.
Regarding environmental aspects, public lighting has been renewed and green areas have been expanded. The project includes planting trees in six tree pits, equipped with an efficient irrigation system, to provide natural shade and reduce ambient temperatures during the summer months.
