The activity program, offered by the Ayuntamiento de Los Guájares, includes a varied range of events for all ages, from sports tournaments and children's games to musical performances and processions.
The festivities will begin on Thursday, August 6th with domino and paddle tournaments, children's board games, and summer cinema featuring the film “Mufasa” at Plaza Andalucía.
On Friday, August 7th, a gymkhana will take place throughout the town, a water party in the Patio de las Escuelas, the first day of the triduum at the Iglesia San Lorenzo, and flamenco dance performances, followed by the opening speech by Marino Mansilla Fernández, and the election of the queen and maids of honor.
Saturday, August 8th will feature children's games and inflatables at Plaza Andalucía, a daytime fair, a foam party, a costume contest with a parade by the Charanga X, the second day of the triduum, tributes to Manolo Escobar and Raphael, and flamenco performances.
Sunday, August 9th will include the I Walk “Pilgrimage to San Lorenzo”, water games, a performance by the group “Reconversion Band” during the daytime fair, a mini children's fair, the third day of the triduum with mass and veneration of San Lorenzo, a concert by the saxophone quartet Sax Momentum, and a popular evening festival (verbena).
Monday, August 10th will feature a 'Diana Floreada' (morning parade) with the Banda de Música de Itrabo, inflatable games, a solemn Eucharist, a pasodoble concert, a popular meal with a performance by the duo Ángel Lozano, a ribbon race, and the solemn procession in honor of San Lorenzo with musical accompaniment, culminating in a grand firework display executed by Hermanos Ortega pyrotechnics.
The festivities will conclude on Tuesday, August 11th with a 'Diana Floreada', children's activities, a solemn eucharist in honor of our Co-patron ntro. Padre Jesús, a pasodoble concert, a popular meal, stews, piñatas, and traditional games, followed by the procession in honor of nuestro Copatrón ntro. Padre Jesús and a grand final firework display.
