A couple has been brought before the judicial authority in Almuñécar after being arrested as alleged perpetrators of various property crimes. The investigated incidents include robberies in several cafes, hospitality establishments, tourist accommodations, and a bungalow, resulting in damages exceeding 2,000 euros.
The investigation began after several crimes with similar characteristics were reported. Surveillance cameras detected the couple's presence near the affected establishments.
The robberies involved the theft of cash from cash registers, bottles of liquor, and a handbag containing personal documents and a bank card, which was later used for purchases.
Officers established a surveillance operation that led to the couple's arrest inside a caravan, which they had accessed after causing damage.
In total, six offenses have been cleared: four thefts, one burglary, fraud through fraudulent use of a bank card, unlawful entry, and damages. The total economic damage amounts to 2,089 euros.
