The usual improvement and maintenance work by the Infrastructure and Works department has focused on several areas of the municipality. The councilor for this delegation, Marcos Ruiz, along with the area director, Alejandro Medina, supervised the tasks.
In the Punta Almina area, the pavement and sidewalk, which were in a very deteriorated state, have been renovated, significantly improving the area's appearance.
Furthermore, in the Hacienda Guadalupe urbanization, a considerable-sized sinkhole located where the waste containers are situated has been resolved, increasing safety for vehicle traffic.
Additionally, the Courthouse has been expanded with a new room designated for archives. This action aims to decongest the facilities and streamline the work of the courthouse and civil registry staff.
The Municipal School of Music, Dance, and Theater has also undergone painting and refurbishment work. These renovations are being carried out ahead of the imminent start of the 2026/27 academic year, ensuring that both users and teaching staff will find the building in perfect condition.
From Infrastructure and Works, it is emphasized that maintenance and improvement tasks are continuous, with the goal of presenting the municipality in its best image.
