The works, which began on the night of Sunday, April 26, will be carried out during nighttime hours, from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM. During this period, the affected section of the road will remain closed to traffic, with the exception of Friday and Saturday nights, when no work will be performed.
These operations are being executed by the UTE Suministros Asfálticos, S.L. – Firmes y Asfaltados del Sur, S.L., the companies awarded the contract for resurfacing high-density roads in Malaga. It is estimated that the work will conclude on the morning of May 22, although this deadline could change depending on weather conditions, as resurfacing cannot be done in the rain.

For those needing to access Churriana or nearby shopping centers via the MA-21, the MA-23 has been designated as an alternative route, at the airport detour, with subsequent reincorporation to the MA-20. Similarly, to reach Torremolinos from Churriana, the Camino del Pilar or the MA-20 are suggested as alternative options.
