The Local Police of Fuengirola have successfully arrested a motorcyclist who was a fugitive from justice and did not possess a driving license. The incident occurred in the early morning when officers attempted to stop the individual near the town's fairgrounds.
Instead of complying with police instructions, the young man accelerated his vehicle, initiating a pursuit through the streets of Fuengirola. The escape ended when the motorcyclist crashed into a piece of street furniture, at which point officers were able to apprehend him.
“"The motorcyclist, in his escape, ended up colliding with an urban element and it was at that moment that the police took the opportunity to catch him."
This arrest comes days after a similar incident, on April 9, where the same motorcyclist was caught talking on the phone while driving. On that occasion, he managed to escape the police patrol. However, this time, luck was not on his side.
After his arrest, it was confirmed that the 19-year-old individual did not have a driving license and had an active search and arrest warrant issued by the Investigating Court number 2 of Fuengirola, in addition to facing charges for a crime against road safety.
It is worth noting that the motorcyclist had previously been identified for negligently driving the same motorcycle, refusing to follow officers' warnings. On that occasion, he was reported for various infractions and for the aforementioned crime against road safety, thanks to license plate identification and the public security video camera system.
