The initiative, promoted by the Mijas Arts Center, presents a selection of pieces created by students of various ages. The project aims to highlight local talent and the creativity fostered within the municipality's art training programs.
During the opening ceremony, the municipal Tourism official emphasized the importance of integrating culture into the town's tourism offerings. According to the councilor, such events allow both residents and visitors to get a closer look at the work of local creators.
“"Mijas is not just a sun and beach destination; it is also art, culture, and craftsmanship."
The exhibition was coordinated by an instructor from the Mijas Arts Center, who highlighted that the main goal is to demonstrate how art encourages expression and observation skills. The displayed works are the result of a learning process that combines effort and technical dedication.
The exhibition will be open to the public at the Mijas Pueblo Tourist Office until May 28. Visiting hours are from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
