The awarding of these grants is part of the new General Subsidy Ordinance, which has replaced the previous nominative allocation system with a competitive bidding model. This change prioritizes the evaluation of projects based on their utility and social benefit to the community.
The funds have been distributed across four strategic areas: social and labor inclusion (80,470 euros), activity maintenance and current expenses (228,650 euros), care for vulnerable groups with pathologies or addictions (167,385 euros), and child protection programs (24,000 euros).
Beneficiary initiatives include palliative care programs, school support for minors, labor insertion for people with mental illness, and psychological therapies. The council has confirmed that it is already working on the call for the 2026 fiscal year, which is expected to be published in the coming weeks.
