This new sports facility, specializing in BMX practice, is designed to meet current discipline demands and accommodate users of various experience levels.
The project's design was overseen by renowned specialist Rubén Alcántara, who defined the technical specifications of the layout and the distribution of the tracks.
The facility will cover approximately 2,000 square meters and is co-financed by the Junta de Andalucía through the Plan de Grandes Ciudades. It will feature two distinct areas: one for experienced riders and another for beginners, promoting both learning and safe practice.
Construction has begun with the complete demolition of the old facility. A sustainability approach has been adopted by reusing the resulting concrete as the base for the new track, thereby avoiding waste transport and the need for new quarry materials.
The project also includes the preservation of existing trees, which will enhance the landscape integration and provide shade to the area, as reported by the Marbella City Council.
