In recent days, the delivery of costumes for the members of the children's and youth courts who will represent the August 2026 Fair in Manilva has taken place. The young people attended the plenary hall of the Manilva Town Hall, where they were received by the mayor, Mario Jiménez, the Councillor for Festivals, Rogelio Pascual, and councillors Laura Salazar, Agustín Vargas, and Gema Zotano.
Once again, the local company La Costurera has been responsible for creating the flamenco dresses and suits for both courts. This summer, the young women will wear elegant flamenco dresses accompanied by a Manila shawl, while the young men will wear their respective suits.
With this event, preparations for the August Fair begin. The official inauguration will take place on Wednesday, August 5th, at 10:30 PM in the municipal tent, with the coronation of the queens, ladies, and masters, both children and youth. At this same event, the mayor, the Councillor for Festivals, and the town crier Elisa Luque Pascual will officially kick off the fair.
