The fire originated minutes before 10:00 PM, with several individuals reporting smoke and flames in the hotel's reception area. Firefighters, 061 medical personnel, and local and national police officers were dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames, which primarily affected two electric wheelchairs at the hotel entrance. However, the significant amount of smoke produced led to the complete evacuation of the building as a precautionary measure.
As a result of the incident, four individuals suffered consequences: three due to smoke inhalation and one with an ankle injury. All guests were subsequently relocated to other hotels in the area.
