The Culture Department of the Fuengirola City Council has launched a new family group in its Municipal Workshop of Ceramics, Sculpture, and Wheel Throwing. This initiative will enable adults and minors aged 6 and over to share a joint artistic and formative experience.
The program, which responds to growing citizen demand, will take place on Fridays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with two monthly sessions. The aim is to foster intergenerational learning, coexistence, and the strengthening of community bonds through modeling, ceramics, and small sculpture activities.
The new 'Families' Group will accommodate a maximum of 10 families per session, adapting to the capacity of the municipal space. The social and environmental aspects of the workshops are highlighted, promoting inclusion, creativity, and sustainability through creative recycling.
The workshop is led by Margarita Olmo Valle, a Higher Technician in Plastic Arts and Design in Artistic Ceramics. With this expansion, the Fuengirola City Council is reinforcing its cultural offerings and facilitating access to artistic activities for various age groups.
