The initiative, organized by the Estepona City Council, aims to support a young girl suffering from 'spinal muscular atrophy,' a genetic and degenerative disease for which there is currently no cure, although treatment exists.
The deputy mayor for the Outlying Areas, Begoña Ortiz, highlighted that the market will feature 30 stalls offering artisanal products and aims, in addition to its recreational aspect, to foster neighborhood coexistence and citizen participation in support of the association ‘Los pasos de Noa’.
The event will begin at 6:30 PM with the opening of the market. At 7:30 PM, the choir ‘Son y Sal’ will perform a concert, followed by the dance academy ‘Sólo Flamenco’ at 8:30 PM. Musical entertainment will continue from 9:30 PM with Dj Pepe.
Additionally, parallel activities are planned, including a themed photocall, children's and craft workshops, and a large scavenger hunt through the courtyards of Cancelada.
“"Noa needs your help"
The president of the ‘Los pasos de Noa’ Association, María José Fernández Marchante, explained that there will be a solidarity bar with food and drinks, with all proceeds going to the cause. She thanked the City Council for their support and encouraged citizen participation.
