Casares is now dressed in its finest to welcome its much-anticipated Fair. This year's program combines tradition, music, and activities for all audiences, consolidating itself as one of the liveliest events of the summer on the Costa del Sol.
The pre-fair events commence today with the traditional Seniors' Festival, an evening that will include a concert by Las Carlotas and a tribute to two beloved local residents, Maribel and Antonio, in recognition of their contributions.
Activities continue this Tuesday with the festival from the Municipal Dance School. Wednesday will be marked by the Children's Day, featuring a large water and foam party, along with special prices on all attractions. The night will culminate with a concert by the iconic group ¡No Me Pises Que Llevo Chanclas!, performing hits like Bolillón or ¿Y tú de quién eres?.
The official inauguration of the fair will take place on Thursday with the traditional parade and the crowning ceremony. From then on, the main square will transform into a large dance floor, accompanied by the orchestras Sugar and Dynamic.
The Llano area will host the main concerts. On Friday, Jay Torres and Kevin Bury will perform, while on Saturday, singer Merche will take the stage for a live show featuring her greatest hits. These performances will be complemented by animation shows and themed parties.
The fair will conclude on Sunday with the Domingo Rociero (Rociero Sunday), a day of community gathering enlivened by performances from the groups A Compás and D’Repente Flamenco, providing the perfect finale to a week filled with festive spirit.
