The healthcare infrastructure, serving as the main center for the Bajo Andarax health zone, spans 2,100 square meters across two floors. The construction involved an investment of 3.7 million euros, with an additional 500,000 euros allocated for equipment, funded by Minap and European funds.
The center is equipped with various medical and specialized consultation rooms. These include three for General Medicine, one for Pediatrics, three for Nursing, and a multi-purpose consultation room. It also features an extraction and treatment room, a minor surgery room, and an X-ray room.
Complementing the healthcare services, the new health center also offers areas dedicated to rehabilitation and physiotherapy, as well as dentistry, thereby expanding healthcare coverage for the region's residents.
