Faced with an increase in disturbances reported in recent days, the police force has issued a call for civic responsibility. The time difference in broadcasting international sporting events has caused celebrations to extend late into the early hours, affecting the rest of Benalmádena residents.
Municipal coexistence regulations state that noise must be kept to a minimum during the hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. The measure aims to ensure the peace of vulnerable groups, including the elderly, the sick, and workers who need to wake up early.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in disciplinary proceedings. Under current ordinances, minor infractions can lead to fines of up to 750 euros, while those classified as serious can reach a maximum of 1,500 euros.
