The incident occurred around 3:00 AM at the Eurostar Azahar hotel, located on García Lovera Street, in the heart of the Córdoba capital. A call to the 112 Andalucía Emergency Service reported that papers were burning in the hotel's reception area.
Local Police, a 061 ambulance, and Firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene. Their swift action allowed them to control and extinguish the small fire in less than an hour, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the hotel.
The injured woman was transported to the Hospital Universitario Reina Sofía de Córdoba for medical attention due to the burns on her face, as confirmed by 112 sources.
