The competition, which celebrates the tradition of the May Crosses, recognized six participants in each of the three established categories: Historic Quarter, Modern Areas, and Enclosed Spaces, reflecting the diversity and deep roots of this festivity in the city.
In the Historic Quarter category, the cross by the brotherhood of La Soledad, located in Plaza de la Lagunilla, was awarded the first prize. Its proposal stood out for its integration with the surroundings and the richness of its ornamentation, capturing the essence of Cordoban tradition.
Meanwhile, the Cañero Nuevo Neighborhood Association received the main recognition in the Modern Areas category. Their cross, installed on Párroco Bartolomé Blanco street, successfully combined creativity with a festive spirit, adapting to a more contemporary urban context.
Finally, Acpacys was honored with the first prize in the Enclosed Spaces category. Their work, displayed on Dolores Ibarruri street, demonstrated great originality and attention to detail, offering a unique experience to visitors within a defined space.
These awards not only acknowledge the effort and dedication of the participants but also promote the continuation of one of Córdoba's most emblematic festivities, attracting both residents and tourists to enjoy the floral art and local culture.
