The boom in tourist apartments in the Cordoban capital continues its unstoppable rise, marking a new milestone in April with 1,771 available spots, according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INE). This figure surpasses the previous record set in March, when 1,624 spots were registered.
The growth in Córdoba significantly contrasts with the national trend, where the accommodation capacity of these establishments has seen a 1.6% decrease over the past year. The year-on-year increase in the city has been 35%, translating to 458 more spots.
This strong growth is also reflected in the total number of establishments, which increased from 380 in April 2025 to 526 in April 2026, a rise of 38.4%. Employment has also been boosted, with 155 people working in these accommodations in April 2026, up 29.2% from the previous year.
The increasing supply has been met by robust demand. In the first four months of the year, 36,626 travelers stayed in these establishments in the city, a 13.7% increase. Overnight stays rose by 16.9%, reaching 72,800.
