“"We want to dedicate ourselves to the neighborhoods that are already built, to the consolidated city, to places that have existed for decades and need improvement of their facilities, with more energy efficiency, in some cases with elevators, and that is what we want to do through the joint work of the Government of the Junta de Andalucía and the City Council."

The Popular Party of Andalucía has reaffirmed its commitment to improving accessibility and urban regeneration in the region's neighborhoods, highlighting both completed actions and future plans to expand these projects.
Representatives of the Popular Party have emphasized the party's dedication to continuing to promote accessibility and urban regeneration throughout Andalucía. The intervention in the Santuario neighborhood in Córdoba has been cited as an example, where elevators have been installed as part of the Urban Regeneration and Renovation Areas (ARRU).
The political group has expressed its intention to create new ARRU zones in Córdoba if they remain in charge of the community, with the aim of installing more elevators in needy areas such as Levante and Ciudad Jardín. These areas, with an old housing stock often lacking elevators, would see an improved quality of life for their residents, especially the elderly.
Furthermore, the need for collaboration with the Junta de Andalucía to approve urban planning regulations that allow homeowner communities to obtain additional income through increased buildability has been highlighted. These funds would be used to finance accessibility and energy rehabilitation works, an initiative that could benefit numerous neighborhoods.
The PP has stressed that accessibility projects promoted by the regional government have involved a significant investment, exceeding 51 million euros throughout Andalucía and benefiting more than 13,000 people. In Córdoba, the investment has surpassed four million euros, reaching over 2,300 beneficiaries. This management is presented as a service model focused on citizens' needs.
