The event, held at the Parador de Córdoba, featured the participation of the president of the Junta de Andalucía and candidate for re-election, as well as the national president of the party. Both leaders underscored the importance of maintaining caution regarding the election results, anticipating that achieving an absolute majority will be a challenge decided in the final moments.
“"The absolute majority will be decided 'in the penalties'. No one should think this is already won."
During his speech, the Andalusian president emphasized the need for a “stability majority” and announced that, if citizens renew their trust, he will promote the first Law on Demographic Challenge and Rural Development of Andalusia. This regulation will seek to balance the population and guarantee equal opportunities throughout the territory, especially in provinces such as Granada and Córdoba itself.
He also highlighted local management in Córdoba, citing the Army Logistics Base and the reduction of unemployment in the province as examples. However, he criticized the Spanish Government for the paralysis of the La Colada-Sierra Boyera connection project, demanding an immediate solution.
In the economic sphere, the Andalusian president highlighted the fulfillment of his promise to create jobs and Andalusia's position as a leader in self-employed workers, thanks to seven tax cuts. He promised to continue this path in the next legislature, announcing a new 99% bonus on inheritance and gift tax for siblings.
“"We will continue lowering taxes because it is the best way to help families and the middle classes."
For his part, the national president of the party presented the “five guarantees” that the formation offers to society: stability, tax cuts, management, equality, and regeneration. He praised the “political miracle” achieved in Andalusia, which has reversed “four decades of previous policies” and positioned the community “at the forefront of national progress.”
The national leader criticized the legislative situation at the central level and defended the “Andalusian way” of concord and dialogue as the path for the community's progress. He concluded his speech by calling for mobilization until the last minute of the election day on May 17, with the aim of consolidating change in southern Spain.
