This event, scheduled to take place at the Colegio Mayor La Asunción in the Cordoban capital starting at 11:00 AM, marks Sánchez's second appearance in the Andalusian pre-campaign. The first was in Gibraleón (Huelva) the previous week, also accompanied by the candidate.
The presence of the PSOE leader underscores the importance the party places on the Andalusian elections on May 17, considered a "national priority." The candidate has emphasized that Sánchez will be fully committed to these elections, given the close relationship they have maintained during her time in the Council of Ministers, where she served as first vice president.
Previously, the candidate also received support from former Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero at a rally held in Jaén. These events aim to consolidate support for the socialist candidacy in the autonomous community.
The official campaign for the Andalusian elections will begin at midnight on the upcoming Friday, May 1. In the previous elections in 2022, Pedro Sánchez participated in three public events in Almería, Málaga, and Seville.
