The incident occurred around 7:10 PM on Friday when several witnesses alerted the 112 Andalusia Emergency Service about a rear-end collision involving a van, a motorhome, and a car. The crash took place at kilometer 9 of the highway, heading towards Fernán Núñez.
In response to the alert, the coordination center dispatched the 061 Health Emergency Center, the Traffic Civil Guard, and Road Maintenance services. These teams promptly arrived at the scene to assist the injured and manage the situation.
Health sources confirmed that seven people sustained injuries. Five of them, including four minors aged 13, 10, 6, and 3, along with a 30-year-old woman, were transported to Montilla hospital for specialized medical care.
Two other men, aged 32 and 45, received medical attention at the scene from the attending paramedics but did not require hospitalization as their injuries were not severe.
