An incident involving sulfuric acid at an industrial facility in Córdoba has resulted in burns to six workers. According to the 1-1-2 emergency service, one of the affected individuals required transfer to the Virgen del Rocío hospital in Seville, a center equipped with a specialized burns unit.
Another operative remains hospitalized at the Reina Sofía hospital in Córdoba. The remaining four sustained minor injuries and were discharged from the same medical complex.

The incident occurred at the copper factory facilities that Cunext Cooper is constructing near the N-432 road, at the entrance to the Cordoban capital. The alert to 1-1-2 was received at 11:25 AM, reporting an acid leak and the presence of several injured individuals.
Emergency services, including Firefighters, National Police, Local Police, the 061 Sanitary Emergency Center, and the Civil Guard, were dispatched to the scene. The 1-1-2 service has informed the Center for Occupational Risk Prevention and the Labor Inspectorate of the events.
